You will begin your full-day visit of Petra, a city carved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Nabateans.
Day 4 – Amman / Madaba / Mt. Nebo / Shobak / Petra
Visit Madaba, the City of Mosaics, Mount Nebo, to Kerak for a photo stop before proceeding to Shobak Castle.
Day 5 – Petra
Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs.
Day 6 – Petra / Little Petra / Wadi Rum / Amman
Villages of Beidah and Basta, wander among the ruins of settlements of the biblical Edomites
Day 7 – Amman to the USA with a lifetime of cherished memories
2 Day Petra Extention
Day 1 – Jerusalem to Petra
Depart Ben Gurion International Airport to return home or continue with the tour extension to Petra.
Cross border at Allenby Bridge Border Crossing (between Jerusalem and Jordan) / Visit Madaba / Mount Nebo / Dinner and overnight in Petra. Suggested hotel: Movenpick Nabatean Castle, Petra, Jordan
Day 2 – Petra to Amman
Visit Wadi Rum / Lunch in Wadi Musa / Petra Tour / Dinner and overnight in Amman. Suggested hotel: Kempinski Hotel, Amman, Jordan
Day 3 – Amman to the US
Morning departure for return to the US.
